Load Test on lifting equipment:
Load testing of lifting equipment is a technical procedure to verify the safety and operational capacity of overhead cranes, cranes, hoists and other equipment. It is carried out by subjecting the equipment to controlled loads, generally between 100% and 125% of its nominal capacity, to evaluate the performance of mechanical, electrical and structural components, such as brakes, cables, hooks and the stability of the structure. These tests are mandatory before initial use, after significant repairs or at periodic intervals, in accordance with technical standards such as ABNT NBR 8400 and Ministry of Labor regulations (such as NR-11).
